Do Not Run From The Fight

The vaccine mandate is a declaration of war against all of us. The intention of the mandate is clear, submit to the demands of government or us, and our family, will suffer. We are being dictated to, we are being threatened with poverty, and insecurity.

The United States government is overtly tearing down the fundamental principles of freedom and democracy. This behavior will set the stage for anarchy and revolution. Employers will seek to send workers home on unpaid leave for noncompliance with the vaccine and testing mandates. This will result in unpaid workers ineligible to draw unemployment.

The enemy may have the power to bring hardship into our lives, but we will survive so long as we hold the line, and stay the course. There are common sense steps we should all be taking to facilitate carrying us through the rough times ahead. However, the preparations we store in our homes are but a finite supply. Eventually, supplies began to dwindle. Everyday, we will have to work, and draw from the earth the necessities of life. The task will be daunting, but we can come out on the other side.

Let us examine Matthew 6:25-34. These words should comfort us.

6:25 Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes?

6:26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?

6:27 Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life ?

6:28 ”And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin.

6:29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these.

6:30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?

6:31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’

6:32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.

6:33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

6:34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

When our faith precludes us from complying with the rules of the world, we must hold our ground. If we bend to the world, we have rejected God. We should not fear that our family will go without the necessities of life so long as we keep faith, do the work, and stay the course. Look at the birds and the rest of animals of nature. They do what God commands of them every day and they survive year after year. Are we not better than a bird? Why should we fear for our survival because some force in opposition to God has threatened us? Do not worry that our families will not have clothes to wear. If God clothes the grass of the field, he will clothe us too. If we read these words, but have no faith, they will be of no use to us. The road ahead is not a conflict that will be won by force of arms, although they could play a role at some point. To be faithful is a mindset. Mindset first. The Rest Will Follow.
