Most employers have set a deadline for their employees to be vaccinated somewhere between late September and mid October. For many of us, this can only play out one of two ways. Either our employers honor our exemption, or they terminate us.
Some employers have a weekly testing option. In my opinion, the testing option is somewhat of a purgatory status for those who don’t want the injection, but are not quite ready to face the reality of termination. Testing cost money and while some employers may cover the testing initially, do not think for a minute that they intend to pick up the tab for testing the unvaccinated long-term. The so-called vaccine does not prevent the catching, or spreading of the virus. It is essentially a treatment “option“ that you do not have “option” to refuse without penalty. If the the concern were really about health, consistent policy would be that everyone get tested regardless of vaccination status considering everyone can catch and spread the virus. Selective testing of the unvaccinated it’s simply a punitive measure meant to weaken the resolve of those who don’t want the injection.
The mandate policy is about total compliance. Therefor, we must mentally stay three steps ahead. At this point, it is safe to say that we can consider life as we knew it in early 2019 our “old life.” The old life is gone, and never coming back. Our standard, and style of living back then, may not serve us well in the times ahead. Where we choose to live is an important factor to a successful resistance. As a general rule of thumb, setting up camp where we’re not welcome and our every move in view of the neighbors kitchen window, is a bad idea.
Cities have always been the epicenter of regulation and control. The convenience of city living comes at a cost and that cost is autonomy. To live in a city is to agree to abide by certain rules in exchange for certain conveniences and services. When we live in the city, we are not obligated to keep the street in front of our home clean, someone comes by and cleans for us. In exchange, we agree to move our vehicle on cleaning day or we get a parking ticket. This is just one of many examples of how we forfeit certain liberties in exchange for the convenience of city living.
Refusing the so -called vaccine comes with consequences. We will not be allowed to simply ride off into the sunset unmolested because that response is not conducive to maintaining control of the compliant vaccinated. What I am about to say is something that many of us who have chosen not to take the vaccine already know but dread to hear. If we live in the city, or in an area with a high percentage of vaccinated individuals, it’s time to move. I understand that this may be the absolute worst time to consider a move but this is the situation on the ground. Many of us do not know if we will have a job in the next few weeks. Moving may be financially uncomfortable, or even downright implausible at this point. However, before we jump to conclusions, I want to point out some viable options.
If we already know that where we are we currently live is not going to work long-term as events progress on the current trajectory, we need to start entertaining the idea of securing fallback locations. Perhaps the single most important thing we can do right now is have a place to go away from the city. The further we go from the conveniences of the city, the cheaper real estate gets. Whether you purchase a fixer-upper home in a rule area, or a piece of raw land where you could pitch a tent if you had to, getting something now is paramount. Yeah you could always hit the road when things get tough where you’re at, but I strongly advise against trying to commandeer territory during periods of unrest. People tend not to take kindly to newcomers during troubled times. That being said, if you can afford to buy a couple of acres of land in a rural area, do it. If you don’t have the cash on hand but have managed to keep your finances and credit score in order over the past 19 months, there are ways you can secure financing of up to $100,000 in about 48 hours. If you need more information about how to do this, reach out to me. If you can’t buy your own space, coordinate with someone who already has a place and find a way to work together.
I think it is clear to all of us where our society is headed. The government of the United States of America is growing increasingly hostile toward a significant segment of its population. The vast majority of people have already picked a side and will not be easily swayed. The few sitting on the fence will be blown away with the next gust of wind. It’s time that we all take stock of our physical location and of the mentality of those surrounding us. While there is no running from the struggles ahead, it is in our favor to position ourselves in sustainable locations and around like minds. This is common sense survival strategy. Securing a fallback location is a time sensitive issue. If you have questions or need to bounce some ideas around, leave a comment below. You can also reach me directly by email.
