KILO25 started as a company focused on firearms training for people like you and me. But the events of 2020 onward had a profound effect on all of us. Just teaching people how to shoot was thinking too small. What’s happened since 2020 has changed, shaped, and refined us into what we’ve become, a counterculture line in the sand. Here, we’re getting reacquainted with an old concept, provisions and protection. Firearms are just one piece of the puzzle and mean nothing by themselves. Anyone can learn to shoot, but learning how to provide for yourself and those who depend on you in any situation, that’s the real lifesaver. This means creating opportunities out of nothing, keeping the lights on, food on the table, having a vision in your head, a plan to achieve it, and money in your pocket.

We all know everything costs money. We also know money is how you fund the vision in your head. With that in mind, it’s imperative to learn to hit your target under pressure both at the range and in your finances. That’s why here it’s a non-negotiable requirement that every man build a business. Not because it’s trendy. Not because everyone needs to be a startup founder. But because building a business and knowing how to deploy your money is the only way you can truly reclaim control over your ability to provide and protect for you and yours no matter what happens in the job market, the economy, or the political world. Some may call it extreme. We call it responsibility.

Don’t think you’re set because you have a job. A job can be taken from you. A promotion can be passed over you. A contract can end. A company can close its doors overnight. But a business you’ve built from the ground up? That’s yours. It’s durable. It’s real power. But here’s the bigger reason you must build a business, and it has nothing to do with the money it makes, it’s about the man you become in the process. Every man should know what it feels like to create something from nothing and get paid for it. You don’t panic at the idea of being let go, because you let go of that fear long ago.

I’m not telling you to be an idiot and quit your job tomorrow. I’m telling you to use your time there to learn everything you can about running a business and use your paycheck to fund your exit plan. I call it buying your freedom. And when your own business starts bringing in money, don’t just stockpile it like you’re scared to lose it, it’s not going with you when you die. Convert some of that money into tangibles that sustain and enhance your life, then deploy the rest to make more money.
